Insect Warfare - World Extermination
This is definitely one of the greatest grindcore releases of all time. World Extermination was one of the albums that got me into grind and it still to this day kicks ass.
Wyrd Visions - Half-eaten Guitar
What originally got me to track down this hard to find release was its acoustic cover of the Mayhem song Freezing Moon. After listening to the cover I decided to try out the rest of the album and I was pleasantly surprised. Genre: Psychedelic Folk
Alcest - Souvenirs d'un autre monde
This album doesn't need an explanation. Just please grab it and listen, you won't be disappointed.
Genre: Shoegaze, Post Rock, Black Metal
Leper - End Progress
Do you enjoy grindcore? Do you enjoy crust? Do you enjoy ska? If you answered "yes" to all three of those questions, or even two, I suggest you check out Leper's "End Progress".Genre: Crust Punk, Grindcore, Ska
Captain Beyond - Captain Beyond
A gem I found recently. It definitely isn't as well known as it should be.Genre: Hard Rock, Heavy Psych, Progressive rock
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
The album that started it all (for me).
Genre: Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal, Speed Metal
